Come have a Play in the Park as you join us on Fridays in the Summer holidays for some special entertainment for under 5s in the beautiful grounds of Royal Victoria Country Park. Together we will create a play paradise, including mini sessions in creative and sensory play with Little Lights, get grooving with Little Steppers and story-time and crafting with Light UP drama and other surprise guests. In addition to all the activity we’ve packed into your day, you’ll also get to explore an incredible range of toys provided by Pop Up Play. Park.

FAQ'S
Does my baby need a ticket?
Yes they do. This event is specifically for under 5s but we've worked very hard to plan a day that will be fun for the whole family. While some of our mini sessions will be catered to babies, we'll also have mixed aged sessions and free play activities for a range of ages.
Do I need to buy a ticket?
Yes, an entry ticket is required for everyone attending (regardless of age) but don't forget that this will gain you discounted entry into Royal Victoria Country Park and a range of activities to enjoy as a family.
Where do I go?
Royal Victoria Country Park, Netley Abbey, Southampton SO31 5GA
We will be set up close to the chapel, please visit us at our Welcome Table to check you in at which time we'll provide a schedule of activities for the day.
Where do I park?
Anywhere you like in the park. Our event is near the Chapel so you may want to park as close to there as possible to cut down on having to carry over any gear.
Can we explore the rest of the park?
Absolutely you can! Bring a picnic, or pick something up in the lovely on site cafe, walk around the country park, visit the beach and make sure to complete your special 'PIP' Trail Map for even more family fun. Your car parking is for all day, so take advantage of it by either coming ahead of your booked slot or staying afterwards to make the most of your day at Royal Victoria Country Park!
Do we need to be at the event we've booked or can we come for any time slot?
Please attend the time you have booked on for. We have carefully planned a full programme of activities to fill the 1.5 hour event so be sure to come on time to avoid missing out on the fun!
Are there any tickets available on the door on the day?
Please check our Facebook page. We can't guarantee entry if you haven't pre booked. Our Event Manager will be carefully keeping an eye on numbers to ensure everyone who has booked on can access the activities. If there are any spaces they will open up tickets on the door. But it is always best to book.
