Little Lights Leader

Job Title: Baby & Toddler, Music & Creative Play Leader for Little Lights

Wage: £18-25 per class, dependant on experience (includes set up and pack up time)

Location: Stubbington, Burridge, Fareham, Gosport and surrounding areas

You will need to be available M-Th from 9:00 - 13:00, with sight for additional work on Fridays and weekends.

Do you have the superpowers to transport children and their parents/carers into a world of imagination, creativity and wonder? Through songs, engaging props and sensory play can you help support children learn through play and create magical memories?

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with under 4’s and their families to run Little Lights magical musical sensory play classes, so if you can tick off the list below please get in touch:

 

  • Do you have experience with under 4’s?

  • Have you had experience facilitating classes with children and adults?

  • Are you motivated and enthusiastic to deliver high quality classes and help Little Lights grow?

  • Do you have the ability to be flexible and meet the needs of customers and work as a team player? 

  • Do you enjoy singing?

  • Are you imaginative and creative?.....and enjoy dressing up!

  • Do you have a driving license and access to a car big enough to fill with lots of goodies?

  • Do you have a first aid qualification or willingness to train? 

 

As a Little Lights leader you’ll be part of a small supportive team where your input and creativity will be valued and full training given, you will have the honour of working with our amazing families, welcoming new people, seeing our Little Lights grow and develop before your eyes, share our original music with the world and be part of magical memories that will last a lifetime.

Applicants must be available to run Little Lights classes in all of our current locations and the surrounding areas, plus feel confident teaching our different group types

You will work closely with our Little Lights Manager to deliver pre-planned sessions, with a different theme each week. Full training and support will be given. Little Lights provides all of the equipment, plans and music that you need. We need you to take these resources and run a magical, memorable class for parents and their little ones. 

 

There will be an option to pick up more classes or one-off parties, workshops or pop up sessions, should this be of interest.

We are seeking an experienced music and play facilitator for under 4’s to work with us to deliver a new curriculum of creative and sensory play classes. You must be experienced in leading early year groups and or classes and be able to confidently communicate and engage with adults and carers.

Little Lights was initially funded by the National Lottery, to deliver creative and sensory play classes for 0-3 year olds and their families. After a successful first term, we decided to make these classes part of a permanent fixture of our ‘Unexpected’ family. Little Lights will allow babies and toddlers to explore, investigate, socialise and discover, to aid their social and physical development for 0-1 years, 1-2 years and 2-4 years. Watching and interacting with their peers is a necessary part of 0-4 year olds development. Our Little Lights classes will also provide an amazing and social outlet for parents to meet other parents, creating a vital network of support and fostering a sense of community among everyone attending our groups.
